If you asked me to draw out my career path, it would probably look like a bird’s nest.

I started behind the camera about 20 years ago, but when that passion became a weight, I focused my energy on making those photographs happen from behind a desk and in a Producer’s chair. Hundreds of photoshoots later, I walked away from balancing budgets and managing a studio so that I could pull some creative juices back out as a Graphic Designer. Photography taught me how to build something from nothing, producing taught me how to keep it all in line. Now, I live for merging both worlds and managing label design for Abbott Nutrition. I create brand design from nothing every single day, and once I get an idea on paper, I see it through to the bitter end, until that first lot of labels rolls off the press. I wake up in the morning and my mind’s already turning with ideas before I get to my desk… Guess I needed a little bit of career chaos to find my place in the world. 

I grew up on Similac baby formula, my first shoot as a producer was for Similac Total Comfort, and then I became one of the creative minds behind all of Similac’s package design. Life has a funny way of getting you exactly where you need to be.
